Your ability to find transport for your product is an integral part of selling it.
The trucking section can assist you in finding carriers and in combining
partial loads into full loads.
The first step in this process is to assemble partial loads into a full truck.
There are a variety of reports and worksheets available if you prefer to
assemble loads from paper.
In addition, we have provided an on-screen worksheet to make this task
as simple as possible.
The top part of the form is for entering Bill of Lading information that all
drops (partial loads) will share.  Most BOL information is not known when
the load is being assembled.  It is added later.
The bottom part of the form displays all of the unassigned loads and those assigned to this load.
The second step is to use the filter toolbar to restrict the ship-to area (in this example NY) and the desired
ship date.  With the unassigned loads displayed, we can select partials near each other in desired date
and location and type in a drop number.
As you assign drops to the load, the total accumulated truck feet and ship weight display below.
Next, print the “Truck Transport Request for Quote”.
Remember, any report is easily adapted to suit.
BOLs & other reports available here are for the partial loads
being assembled.  More direct access to BOLs & other
shipping documents for full loads are available from the order
screen.
Next, open your trucking company directory and batch email or fax this RFQ to as many motor carrier
companies or brokers as you like.  Carriers are selected for the batch email process by clicking the
check box.
When an acceptable RFQ is returned, print and send a “Truck Transport Confirmation”.
