Retail operations are accommodated as follows;

Sales ties our standard sales features to a point-of-sale cash
register system. The hand scanner used for inventory data
collection can scan plant tags as the customer places them on a
cart or scans the tags of larger stock. The scanner then plugs into
the USB port or connects via Bluetooth wireless to upload the
invoice items and/or print a pick ticket for staff that may assist in
loading. The same system is used when landscape contractors do
their own plant selection from a wholesale grower.

Inventory is received via the Purchase Order system and can be transferred or upsized just as it
would in any growing operation. Inventory reorder points are set just as they are in any retail
inventory system.
